Hi, I'm Kelsie, I am a neurodivergent therapist who specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals of all ages! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) and a registered play therapist (RPT™) serving the Albuquerque area. I graduated from UNM with a B.A. in Psychology and Family Studies and received my master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University in Clinical Social Work. I've worked school-based and agency-based settings providing therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and teens.

I love supporting Autistic individuals and I utilize DIRFloortime, Autplay, and neurodiversity-affirming techniques with many of my clients. I also love working with teenagers and find it fulfilling to connect with them and help them feel understood and supported. I am passionate about working with children from a trauma-informed perspective using nondirective and directive play therapy and sand tray techniques. Additionally, I enjoy working with parents and their to promote increased attachment and deepen connections.

I pride myself on being someone people can feel safe and understood with. I love to play and find that it helps all of us as we journey through life. I am also an avid fidget collector and often you will see me stimming throughout the office with various fidgets. Comfort and regulation are important to me, and you will often see me skipping, walking around without shoes, and moving my body in various ways that help me regulate.

My life mottos are “a person’s a person, no matter how small” and “when you know better, you do better.” These quotes sum up my beliefs that no matter who you are and why you are coming to see me, you are a person and have value. Additionally, I believe that the better we know ourselves and the more we learn about who we are and what we believe the better we are able to live happy, successful, and meaningful lives.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
