Hello! My name is Kayla, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker here at the Treehouse. I completed my bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico in Psychology and Speech and Hearing Sciences and my Master's in Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University. I have experience and love working with autistic individuals, children who have experienced trauma, and teenagers. I envision a world where all people feel the freedom and joy to express their true selves. I love being a part of self-discovery and increasing self-worth through laughter, play, comfort, and building strong relationships.

 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Annie. I also love being in the mountains, playing board games, cooking, reading, and doing anything adventurous! My life motto is...Live in the moment, responsibly. Things that are important to me are staying true to my faith, remaining genuine, maintaining self-care, expressing clear and transparent communication, and being able to problem solve by thinking outside the box.

 

I love meeting and working with new people and feel so blessed to be able to serve people daily and be apart of the Treehouse family.
