Hi! My name is Jenna (she, her). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW--S), a mom, and a hard-core Lord of The Rings fan. My favorite toy is internal imagination, books, and of course everything Elven. My special interests include taking apart and putting furniture back together, Middle Earth, research, Lord of the Rings, science fiction and fantasy, seasons, and rearranging rooms. Oh yeah. Did I mention Lord of the Rings? I am a proud neurodivergent mother to two amazing neurodivergent children, which is why my life motto is "you step into the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to!"

I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of New Mexico in Sociology and Family Studies and my master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University. Over the years, I have served diverse populations working in agency-based, home-based, residential treatment, and inpatient settings serving people ages 2 to 92!

I am passionate about helping others find healing from the complexities of life. I treat a variety of mental health concerns and work with all people across the lifespan from a trauma informed, neurodivergent affirming, humanistic, and attachment-based theoretical lens. I have found that therapy works best and is most meaningful when it is individualistic which is why I am fond of a prescriptive approach to therapy. Some therapies and immersive interventions I utilize include Attachment theory, Neurosequential model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sand-Tray Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Experiential Play Therapy, CBT-Play Therapy, and Gestalt Play Therapy. For families, I use Theraplay, CBT and Solution-Focused Family techniques.

After many years of intensive training, I am now a Registered Play Therapist and am certified in  Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR). It is of utmost importance to me that I provide support to my clients through respect, honesty, and empathy. My professional goals are to facilitate an immersive therapeutic experience that generates healing and inspires internal growth and empowerment. If you feel “quite ready for another adventure” of self-exploration, I am excited to meet you soon and serve your needs. And please always remember, “not all those who wander are lost”.
