Hello! I’m Anna Vargo, and I’m excited to join the Treehouse team. I have over four years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, specializing primarily in experiential play therapy working with children 3 to 11 years old. In addition to this modality, I also utilize Existential approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and solution-focused approaches when working with both adolescents and adults.

My true passion lies in early intervention, as I believe that addressing mental health challenges early on can lead to significant positive outcomes. I’m particularly drawn to the benefits of expressive play therapy, which allows individuals to explore their emotions and experiences in a safe and creative environment. When I’m not immersed in a psychology book or writing poetry, you’ll likely find me enjoying the outdoors, whether I'm hiking or playing disc golf. I love and adore all things feline. I also have a love for live music, which adds to my zest for life!”
